Sunday Lunch

The perfect Sunday roast with Leeds Brewery

Every year, the first Sunday of February is British Yorkshire Pudding Day and here at Leeds Brewery we could not possibly let this day pass by without a celebration.

This year on Sunday 7th February we will be offering a Yorkshire Pudding surprise taster as a complimentary starter before serving your Sunday lunch. The head chefs at each one of our pubs have been getting their creative heads on to produce some exciting Yorkshire Pudding tapas to give the classic dish a creative twist. All will be revealed on the day.

We have also created our perfect Leeds Brewery Yorkshire pudding recipe that we would love to share with you and if you dine with us on Sunday 7th you’ll be given this as a small recipe card along with your surprise starter so you can have a go at making your own.

At Leeds Brewery we believe the perfect Sunday Roast is determined by the quality of the meat, the use of fresh seasonal vegetables and the size of the puds, which is why our Sunday roasts are freshly cooked every weekend using locally sourced ingredients and are all served with herb roast potatoes, roasted root vegetables, seasonal greens and mashed potato. You can choose from Yorkshire Dales beef topside, Yorkshire Dales lamb, beer mustard glazed Yorkshire ham or our vegetarian option of courgette, Wensleydale and hazelnut roast. Our meat is sourced from the Yorkshire Dales Meat Company who have been our trusted suppliers since 2011 and provide us with nothing but high quality cuts of meat.

'A traditional British Sunday roast is not complete without a giant Yorkshire pudding and a generous helping of gravy and what better place to enjoy one than here in Yorkshire itself'

Our Sunday lunch menu offers a 2 course for £15 or a 3 course for £18.50 and you have the option to add a bottle of wine for just £10. Some of our starters include a hearty winter vegetable soup, North Atlantic smoked salmon or pulled pork fritters served with plum bacon jam and crispy crackling. Our selection of desserts include a chocolate brownie, sticky toffee pudding and a Yorkshire cheese board with our speciality Hellfire cheese and Midnight Bell chutney.

Our roasts are in popular demand and Sundays at the pubs are one of our busiest times so we recommend you call and book a table with us to avoid any disappointment. Also don’t hesitate to ask a member of our team for any information regarding allergens. We look forward to seeing you next Sunday. LB
