Leeds Brewery’s Leodis lager has picked up a silver medal in the Premium Lager category at a prestigious national beer festival. The Society of Independent Brewers (SIBA) holds the competition as part of its annual Beer X Festival of Beer in Sheffield, where beers from across the country go head to head as they are judged by panels of industry experts in blind tasting sessions.
Leodis came second overall in the Premium Pale and Golden Lagers category. It is the only kegged beer currently produced by the brewery, and is available on bars throughout Yorkshire, as well as being a permanent fixture in all six Leeds Brewery pubs.
Head brewer Venkatesh Iyer was delighted at the news saying; ‘it’s great to have Leodis recognised as being amongst the best kegged beers in the country. The whole brew team is celebrating’.
We're celebrating the launch of our new IPA 'Monsoon' in a special collaboration with indian street food heroes Rola Wala.
Join us for the launch of Gathering Storm at Crowd of Favours on the 11th of February from 6pm onwards.
